Description

Take your backcountry touring to another level with snowcat-assisted access and guides. We will transport you to the backdoor of the Pacific Crest and manage the hazards and logistics of getting you to terrain you have only dreamed about. Our ski zones are between Palisades Tahoe and Sugar Bowl and offer all aspects and terrain types, from wide-open runs to steep, protected chutes.

What to Expect

  • This tour is designed for all levels of backcountry enthusiasts. However, you must be comfortable skiing in all types of snow conditions- from deep powder to wet snow to icy crusts.

  • You will be expected to know how to use your ski/board equipment and have skins pre-cut to fit your skis or board.

  • Be booted up and ready to go at our trailhead at 8 pm. Expect to return by 4pm.

What to Bring

  • Food and Water for a full day in the mountains
  • Avalanche safety gear: beacon, shovel, probe, poles, pack
  • Skis or Split board with skins
