Backcountry fishing trips take place in the shallow waters on or adjacent to the Saint Johns River. These trips are less weather dependent than ocean and offshore fishing trips. The normal target is Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Flounder, and Black Drum. Keep in mind that Captain Joe only books this experience from October 1 to May 1
