Three day course designed to introduce students to fundamentals of bareboat cruising and chartering. This class takes place on a Hunter 340. This class goes over and tests students in the following:
Day 1 – Introduction, lecture, provisioning, & departure for Moss Landing
Day 2 – Meal, lecture, sail from Moss Landing to Santa Cruz
Day 3 – Breakfast in Santa Cruz, lecture, written test, sail back to Monterey
Practice docking in varied conditions at multiple harbors to build confidence in tight spaces.

Familiarize yourself with nautical charts and compass use ahead of the course.
