About

Prerequisite: ASA 101 Keelboat Sailing 1 or equivalent check-out

Seattle Sailing Club’s Cruise N Learn course is an intermediate cruising course for sailors with ASA 101 Basic Keelboat or equivalent check-out. This class combines the material covered in the ASA 103 Basic Coastal Cruising and ASA 104 Bareboat Chartering classes during a 5 day/ 4 night voyage throughout Puget Sound. Unlike the traditional 103/104 courses, this is an immersion course so the content is incorporated into the voyage based on weather and destinations.

Please note that depending on the size of the boat, some students may need to share berths. If you have special requests, please let us know as soon as possible.


Group Lesson Schedules:

This liveaboard course begins at 9am on Day 1 and will end by 5pm on Day 5.


Note: Tipping your instructor is not required, but is greatly appreciated if you enjoyed your lesson. A typical tip ranges from 10–20% of the course cost. For multi-day courses or those with multiple instructors, it's common to tip $20–$50 per instructor per day. All tips go directly to the instructor.
