We do not mix groups in double kayaks. If you are solo or have an odd number in your group, your guide will set out a single kayak.

  • This is an active kayak tour, please be sure everyone is ready to paddle for 5 miles, round-trip.

  • All outdoor adventures are subject to weather. We will cancel a tour if safety is a concern.

  • The water for the first and last mile may be choppy due to boat traffic,

  • If there is flash flood warning in the area, or if debris from a storm blocks passage to the canyon, we may not hike in Antelope Canyon.

  • Children under the age of 5 and ALL children under 30lbs (13 kg) will need to bring their own Personal Flotation Device (life jacket).

Adventure Tips

Stay Hydrated

Bring at least two liters of water to stay hydrated during the paddle and hike under the desert sun.

Sun Protection is Crucial

Wear sun-protective clothing, a hat, and sunscreen—shade is limited and UV rays are strong.

Be Prepared to Get Wet

Water shoes or sandals that can get wet and muddy are recommended for hiking and swimming stages.

This active kayak tour covers five miles round-trip; a moderate level of fitness helps ensure a great experience.
