We love gravity, and so do our guests. It lets you experience the elation that comes with cruising down a mountainside overtop a canopy of trees. It also makes ziplining effortless, which is why ziplining is becoming one of the top tourist attractions in BC among all age groups.
Led by an experienced and welcoming guide, you’ll begin the tour with a few shorter ziplines to get acclimated. After that, the real fun begins, as you glide along lines up to 200 feet above the ground and up to 2,000 feet in length! Our Kootenay zipline course boasts the longest and highest lines in the Columbia Valley.
Ziplining is a terrific group activity as well. On average, tours are two hours in length, which makes them ideal for:
A typical tour takes about 2 to 2.5 hours from the time you get harnessed up to the time you’re walking back to your vehicle
We don’t have an age restriction, it’s by weight. All participants must be between 50 and 265 pounds. This weight limit is STRICTLY ENFORCED and everyone is weighed before going on tour with all their clothes, jackets and shoes on. For participants under 19 years old, it is required to have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian prior to ziplining. If the parent or legal guardian isn’t going ziplining, the participant must bring a completed waiver when arriving to site.
Closed-toed shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and a smile! No water bottles to be taken out on tour, water is provided on the course - we do sell bottled water. No backpacks or fanny packs allowed while on the zipline either.
Other than that, we suggest you wear comfortable clothing and that you dress for current weather conditions. We provide all the necessary ziplining gear. You’ll be wearing a helmet, so you might want something to tie your hair back.
Dress in layers and avoid loose accessories for safety and comfort during the zipline experience.
Reserve your spot early, especially during peak season, to secure your preferred time slot.
Use sunscreen and wear a hat or sunglasses, as you'll be exposed to direct sunlight at altitude.
