In this hands-on workshop, you’ll work with thin sheets of brass and brass wire to recreate the intricate embossed designs found on jewelry in Glencairn Museum’s Roman gallery. Personalize your creation by incorporating imagery that holds special meaning to you, or be inspired by imagery from Roman beliefs.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some experience with metalworking, this workshop offers a fun and immersive journey into the techniques of the past—no prior skills required!
Access to Glencairn’s first floor and the exhibition, Rushnyky: Sacred Ukrainian Textiles, is included in the workshop fee.
