See our friendly farm animals When Kings Landing is open from June to mid-October, the village is home to farm animals. These can include horses, cows, pigs, sheep, chickens, roosters, and geese. Our farm team also includes a friendly dog named Finnegan who is trained to work on our farms and interact with guests.
We also offer horse & wagon rides that are free of charge and work on a first-come, first-served basis. All animal-related programming is subject to the health and safety of the animals.
Bring a Piece of History Home With both the Peddler’s Market and the Grant Store, there are two opportunities to find that special souvenir to remind you of your historical adventure. Both shops feature a selection of one-of-a-kind giftware, local goods, old fashion candy, branded souvenirs and other unique products such as cast-iron cookware.
The village paths are mostly dirt and gravel; sturdy shoes make wandering between buildings enjoyable.
While food is available onsite, staying hydrated during your visit in warmer months keeps your energy up.
To fully enjoy the village, interactions, and demonstrations, allot at least a couple of hours without rushing.
Farm animal appearances and wagon rides depend on conditions and animal well-being; check ahead if these are priorities.
