Whisky, Castle, and Loch - A flavour of what The Highlands has to offer!
One of the greatest whisky distilleries in the Highland region. Enjoy a dram of the finest whisky produced at Glen Ord distillery. Do not miss the great deli with local and Scottish products available. Book a table after the tour to taste the great food on offer!!
Driving on, we will be heading toward the famous and mysterious Loch Ness. Loch Ness is 22.5 miles long and it is the biggest loch in the UK by volume, with enough fresh water to supply England and Wales. After having seen Ness (yes, you did see Ness), we will be taking you to the ancient ruins of Urquhart Castle by Loch Ness. Standing perched above the deepest point of the loch, the castle is very popular with tourists and it is worth visiting inside.
As soon as we park the vehicle a wee walking tour is waiting for you. Let's see the oldest house still standing in Inverness along with the great 1800's architecture across the city centre. Follow the River Ness to find out more about how the northern city in the UK has been so resilient throughout many centuries.
