One of the best ways to experience Blackstone Valley is on the river! Join us and you’ll be able to explore the Valley Falls Mill Pond and Firestone Cove along the Blackstone River! During your journey you'll take in some nice scenery, historic mills, and possibly see the many species of wildlife that call this waterway home including egrets, painted turtles, cormorants, osprey, and “Sam” the lone mute swan.
All rentals depart from Central Falls Landing.
A minimum number of kayakers will need to have signed up for the session to run. If we do not meet that minimum we will notify you 48 hours in advanced. If we do meet the minimum we will send an event reminder of your session.
All kayak sessions are subject to river conditions.
Even on overcast days, UV rays reflect off the water—bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat.
Plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled launch to get fitted and briefed without rushing.
Protect your phone, keys, and snacks from water splashes with a dry bag or waterproof case.
Keep a respectful distance from birds and turtles to avoid disturbing their habitats during the paddle.
