4 days (daily 4–7 hours hiking)
Good aerobic fitness and comfort on uneven terrain; able to manage sustained climbs and long stair descents.
Four days of ancient mule tracks, lemon groves and the high ridge known as the Path of the Gods—this trek delivers Amalfi’s coastal panoramas without the crowds. Expect steady climbs, medieval mills, and a ferry finish in Positano.
On the first morning you step out into a town that still measures its days by church bells and market hours: Cava de' Tirreni. The group threads through narrow streets, past bakeries sending out steam and the scent of espresso, then climbs into terraces where lemon trees lean toward the sea as if listening for waves. Over four days the coastline unspools beneath you—whitewashed villages, sheer limestone cliffs, the Tyrrhenian daring you with every glittering turn.

Wear sturdy hiking shoes with good grip—steps are steep and ancient stone can be slippery when wet.
Bring at least 1.5–2L of water for each day; refill opportunities are limited between villages.
Descents on narrow stone stairways are harder on knees—use trekking poles if you have them and step deliberately.
Luggage is transferred for you; keep a small daypack to carry essentials, lunch and layers.
The trail network grew from medieval mule tracks tied to the maritime Republic of Amalfi and local paper-making industries powered by the Canneto river.
Terraced agriculture and coastal vegetation are fragile; stick to marked paths, avoid trampling terraces, and support local businesses that follow sustainable practices.
Provides traction and stability on rocky paths and polished stone steps.
Big enough for water, layers, camera and packed lunch carried each day.
Coastal weather changes quickly; a packable shell keeps you dry and blocks wind on exposed ridges.
