The Florida Keys sun is intense year-round, so pack a hat, sunscreen, and polarized sunglasses to stay comfortable and see underwater life clearly.
Long fishing trips require steady hydration and energy. Bring water and food, although coolers on board help keep drinks cold.
Boat decks can be wet and slick—footwear with good traction helps keep you steady while fishing and moving around.
If you’re prone to motion sickness, consider medication or remedies before heading offshore where the waves can be stronger.
Marathon has deep roots in the Keys’ fisheries culture, once a hub for sponge diving and commercial fishing dating back to the early 1900s.
Two Conchs supports sustainable practices by following catch regulations and promoting catch-and-release to preserve fish populations.
