***The Lake Agnes Tea house is a world famous. It is the oldest tea house in Canada orginally built in 1905 and is on most peoples "must see" list but at about 1000 feet elevation gain from lake Louise it is quite an uphill hike, a horse the makes the trip much easier. The horses take approximately 1 hour and 15 min to go up and about 1 hour down passing by Mirror Lake on the way. We do allow about a 30 min break at the tea house to take lots of photos and sample their wares, just remember it's cash only up there. We also provide saddlebags on all our horses so you can bring your own snack and enjoy a quieter area of the lake if you like. This tour is appropriate for just about everyone, great for families with younger children and those that don't want to be in the saddle that long. Heck if the Travelocity Gnome could do it, you sure can
Helmets and rain gear are available. NO BACKPACKS We do recommend bringing your own lunch as the lines at the teahouse sometimes take longer than our allocated time allowance
The tea house only accepts cash, so bring enough for snacks or drinks during your break.
Temperatures can fluctuate; dressing in moisture-wicking layers helps keep comfortable on horseback.
Use provided saddlebags to store snacks, cameras, or jackets safely during the ride.
Listen closely to your guide’s briefings about mounting, riding, and trail etiquette to ensure a smooth experience.
