Rancho Park Golf Course & Driving Range offers a classic 18-hole parkland course paired with a spacious two-level driving range. Known for its inviting fairways, well-maintained greens, and accessible design, this public facility in West Los Angeles provides a well-rounded golf experience suitable for players of all skill levels.

Course Overview

Rancho Park Golf Course & Driving Range stands as a vital public golf resource on Los Angeles’ west side, offering a well-balanced blend of playability and challenge spread across 18 holes. This traditional parkland-style layout features a sequence of classic par 4s complemented by strategic par 3s and par 5s, providing a diverse golfing experience suited to a wide range of skill levels. The course’s generous fairways invite confidence off the tee, while the well-maintained greens challenge approach shots with subtle undulations that demand thoughtful putting strokes.

Located at 10460 W Pico Blvd, Rancho Park presents players not only with a course suited for casual and serious play, but also with a standout driving range facility. The two-tiered range offers ample space for practice, where ample bays and well-kept hitting mats accommodate steady traffic, even during peak hours. The grass in the landing areas maintains consistent conditions, although errant shots sometimes land among range balls scattered across the fairways. For golfers honing their technique, the second-floor bays restrict play to irons only, ensuring safety without sacrificing quality practice.

The setting is urban yet surprisingly green, framed by mature trees and punctuated by bunkers that provide a traditional test without overwhelming the player. Rancho Park’s layout encourages strategic thought rather than brute power, rewarding accuracy and shot-planning. The course’s approachable design doesn’t shy away from offering moments that demand creativity, especially when the city winds influence shot selection and tempo.

With moderate greens fees and a welcoming atmosphere, Rancho Park suits beginners seeking to gain confidence and experienced players aiming to sharpen their game. Its consistent pace of play and reasonable walkability make it a reliable choice for daily golf without sacrificing quality. Visitors appreciate the convenient parking and the friendly staff who maintain a tidy, inviting environment.

Whether practicing on the expansive range or venturing out over the thoughtfully configured 18 holes, Rancho Park Golf Course delivers a practical yet enjoyable golf experience firmly rooted in West Los Angeles’ landscape. It remains a favored destination for those wanting affordable, accessible golf with classic parkland charm.

This place is simply lovely. I haven't played the big 18 yet, but I can vouch for the driving range and the 9 hole course, which are both tip top.

A blessing for the west side to have a public course and practice facility like this. The golf course features lots of classic par 4’s. Nothing too spicy in its design though still has good variety.

Very well maintained green and bunker. Fairway condition is good as well. If your shot missed the fairway, you may need to play on the dirty ground. Played Sunday at 10 a.m., and the pace was great. Took 4 1/2 hrs. If you have a color ball, you should play with that at Hole #9 and #18. Range balls are spread all over the fairway. The range balls are also white.😅

Fine driving range and fair prices. But Rancho should put a time limit on lanes when the range is full. Too many people buying jumbo buckets and camping out for 2 hours or refilling their buckets without giving up their lane. Not a problem most of the time, but you'll end up waiting 45 min to an hour some nights to get a spot.

If you are new to golf 🏌🏼‍♂️, then you know you will be spending lots of time in the driving range to improve your game. This is probably the best driving range in West LA. The place is clean, grasses are well maintained, has plenty of parking and is fairly priced, you could get 100 balls for $10 (credit cards accepted). Also, this place is double-decked with plenty of space between each bay. There will be club rentals if you don't have your own. As a side note, the golf course is definitely picture worthy during sunset 🌇! Overall, I am not going to bash on this driving range just because the place is crowded. It's probably crowded because the place is well run. I have been here twice and thoroughly enjoyed my time here. TIPS: If you decide to play on the second floor, please note that only irons are allowed to prevent accidents.

Tee times are impossible to find early in the day and the place is falling apart. Pipes are broken and new breaks seem to be happening all the time. Tee boxes are chewed up, I don't believe divots are repaired. The driving range is always busy, I dont even try to warmup before my round. The chipping area is a disaster. The practice putting areas are actually pretty decent. There is no pro-shop, just the temporary trailer since the old clubhouse building is closed and nothing is being done to bring it back.
