The layout features a relaxed parkland style, with fairways framed by mature trees and patches of natural Oregon greenery that lend variety and visual interest to each hole. The relatively compact yardage emphasizes accuracy over distance, allowing shot-shapers and strategic thinkers to leverage their strengths.
Beyond the course itself, amenities include golf cart and club rentals, making it convenient for visitors traveling light or unfamiliar with the area. The terrain is mostly flat to gently rolling, encouraging walking, although players should be prepared for some occasional bare spots on fairways and paths, which are currently under repair or maintenance.
Located near local parks and green spaces, the course offers glimpses into Oregon’s lush coastal environment, though players should expect ambient sounds from nearby roads and light industrial activity. Careful navigation to the course is advised, as some routes through Astoria’s hilly residential streets can be narrow or winding.

Word of caution. If you are coming from the east on 30, don’t follow Google maps. It will take you on 8th street through the hills of Astoria (little San Francisco). Caused quite a bit of puckering in our 45 foot MH as we tried to get out of that sticky situation! Stay on 30 and go around the perimeter of Astoria. The park is pretty nice looking. Lots of green grass, trees and plants. And there is the 9 hole golf course which was undergoing some remodeling. Clubs and carts are available to rent, and the fees are reasonable. The staff is friendly, and check-in was pretty painless. No discounts during the summer – no club, weekly or monthly. They accept cash or check only. There was no deposit required when we made the reservation for our RV site. The park is located in an industrial type area, and you will hear some of the heavy machinery. It is also located near a crazy intersection between Youngs River Road and Business 101. There is traffic noise, jake brakes and other loud vehicles but it quieted down at night. The interior roads are paved, and the sites are gravel. Each site comes with a half picnic table (why?). There are no patios. The sites are fairly close and some very close as the utilities are in a space between them. Our neighbor had hooked his sewer up to ours so we had to stretch two hoses together to reach what should have been his. He apparently had been there a long time. Our fairly level site was a pull in with a view of the golf course out the front window. There was just enough room for the MH and toad. On our passenger side was some type of modular that someone lived in. Satellite is possible in some spots. We could not get any decent over the air channels. Verizon was 4g 3 bars. WII FI was actually pretty darn good, at least in our site. There is a tasty food cart within walking distance, and it ended up being too convenient! We had some cloudy, misty days and some sunny days. The temperature was pretty constant with highs around 70 and lows in the 50s. It is VERY windy!

Very nice park, clean laundry room, beautiful golf setting. Grounds very well maintained. Guest may play golf for free, nice large dog area, and fun activities offered. Staff friendly and helpful planning your stay. Nice concrete pads and small grass areas with trees at each site. Gravel driving and walking area around the park can be hard for pets to walk on. Centrally located within Astoria area. Will return again.
