Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club
Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club features a 27-hole layout spread across three distinct nine-hole courses that blend parkland and woodland styles. Located in Mountain Top, PA, it offers a challenging yet accessible test framed by mature trees, elevation changes, and welcoming clubhouse amenities.
Course Overview
Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club offers a distinctive golf experience with its thoughtfully designed 27-hole layout, split evenly into three unique nine-hole courses that challenge players with varied terrain and strategic shot-making. Situated in Mountain Top, Pennsylvania, the course presents a well-maintained mix of parkland and woodland features, where mature trees line narrow fairways and elevation changes add both interest and complexity to each hole. The landscape frames the round with subtle natural beauty, inviting golfers to engage not only with their game but also with the local wildlife that frequently crosses the course, adding a quiet companionship to the play.
The three nines provide different challenges that suit a broad range of skill levels. Tight driving lanes guarded by trees require precision off the tee, while shifting green complexes demand thoughtful approaches and steady putting. Golfers will find forced carries on several holes, making course management an important part of any strategy here. Though challenging in spots, the overall design remains accessible to mid-handicaps, offering rewarding opportunities for controlled aggression and careful planning.
Beyond the course itself, Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club supports its players with a fully stocked pro shop where you can find the latest equipment and apparel. After the game, the clubhouse restaurant and bar provide a welcoming atmosphere for relaxation, conversation, and refreshment. The course operates on a tee time schedule with intervals that encourage steady pace-of-play; walkers are accommodated and recommended to bring sturdy footwear due to some uneven terrain.
While the course offers a peaceful escape from urban life, it also demands respect from golfers seeking to navigate its layout successfully. Strategic bunkering, tree-lined corridors, and subtle elevation shifts make it a thoughtful venue for those ready to test their accuracy and tactical awareness. Whether you are returning for league play or experiencing it for the first time, Blue Ridge Trail provides a solid balance of challenge and enjoyment amid its tranquil mountain setting.
Course Highlights
The course’s three nine-hole segments each present distinct strategic challenges, from tree-lined fairways requiring accurate drives to greens protected by carefully placed bunkers. Shifting elevations and natural streams provide both visual interest and tactical tests. The presence of local wildlife adds an engaging layer to the experience without distraction.

Really nice course. The grounds were nicely kept. It was not too busy for the twilight special ($30 for all you can golf starting at 3 o'clock). Beautifully landscaped all around. A nice layout, even a bad golfer like me was able to keep most shots in play. Saw lots of wildlife as well, deer, rabbits, a racoon, squirrels, and chipmunks. That was just in our round today. The screen with the hole picture, distances, and score was nice. Definitely will come back to play again!! Just as nice a second time!

Such a great course, greens were fast, fairways were great. Enjoyed the terrain differences and wildlife. The trees make it challenging. Played twice and would definitely go back.

The course is one of the best manicured in the area with 3 nine hole courses. Each Nine Hole Course will test your shot making abilities. Bring a few extra golf balls as there are some forced carries and tight fairways. There is a fully stocked pro shop, bar and restaurant. Tight Tee times are scheduled 8 minutes apart and slow play can cause some long rounds of golf.

I play in a league here. The course is always a charm to play on. The hole layouts are great, as they vary in difficulty and strategy. Lots of wildlife to keep you company (bring big spray). Two problems. First is they tend to squeeze non-league players in bad positions (i.e. in front of or behind you) and that can really screw up your game. The second problem is the pin placements are sometimes ridiculous. I've also heard this from other players too. Overall, certainly worth the money to enjoy a round of golf.

Man did I wanna give this place a 5 star review I was there last week for a bachelor party the guy who helped us Friday morning (April 11, 2025) was great super friendly and helpful heck even the bartender was great the course was in impeccable condition! So why am I leaving a once star review well I left my range finder there during the bachelor party. Yes I know that’s my fault I’m not saying I’m not wrong but anyways I call the pro shop a week later to see if they can locate it the guy gets all huffy and puffy when I tell him I’m out of state from ny ok so I say listen can I send a box or FaceTime and employee to see if it’s there (I know it’s there because that’s the last place I had it) he basically told me no and hung up the phone I know I left the range finder there but like that’s a 250 dollar piece of equipment I was willing to ship the box and pay for shipping to find it it’s just unfortunate a pro shop employee was all pissy about helping out someone that needs help oh well
