Braelinn Golf Club

Peachtree City, Georgia, USAMetro Atlanta

Braelinn Golf Club in Peachtree City, Georgia, presents an 18-hole championship layout blending strategic challenge with approachable play. Set across gentle, tree-lined terrain, the course invites golfers of all levels to engage in thoughtful shot-making within a calm, well-maintained setting.

Course Overview

Braelinn Golf Club offers a refined yet approachable golf experience within the planned community of Peachtree City, Georgia. This 18-hole championship course stretches across gently rolling terrain, designed to provide a balance between challenge and enjoyment for golfers of varying skill levels. The layout favors strategic shot-making over brute force, with generous fairways that wind through emerald tree lines and water features providing both beauty and subtle test. A relatively flat course with subtle elevation changes makes Braelinn a comfortable walk, appealing to those who prefer to move at their own pace while still testing their accuracy and course management.

The well-maintained bentgrass greens reward precision and thoughtful putting, though occasional undulations demand attention and careful reads. Bunkers guard some of the pin positions, giving holes a classic feel without posing overly punitive hazards. The front nine flows steadily with a mix of par 4s and 5s that encourage players to find their rhythm early, while the back nine introduces more risk-reward holes, including a standout par-3 that requires a careful tee shot over water. The course conditions reflect ongoing care, with the turf presenting clean lies and consistent surfaces despite seasonal challenges inherent to bentgrass in this region.

Set amid mature hardwoods and landscaped areas, Braelinn provides a peaceful atmosphere that removes distractions and invites focus on shot execution and strategy. The clubhouse serves as the social and logistical hub with attentive staff and amenities catering to members’ needs, including a pro shop and dining options that complement a day on the links.

Braelinn’s accessibility makes it popular among members who seek a reliable, well-kept course without excessive difficulty. While it demands thoughtful play from low handicappers, it remains inviting for higher handicaps aiming to develop course management skills. Walkers will appreciate the smooth pathways and moderate terrain, but carts are available for convenience. Overall, Braelinn Golf Club is a solid example of a private course that balances practical playability with a quiet elegance, ideal for both regular rounds and occasional outings.

Course Highlights

Braelinn Golf Club’s strategic layout combines wide fairways and subtle green complexes with water hazards that test club selection without overwhelming the player. Signature holes include a par-3 striking the balance between challenge and beauty as it crosses water, and a finishing hole demanding accuracy to avoid bunkers protecting the green’s front edge. The course’s gentle elevations and canopy of mature hardwoods create a tranquil environment emphasizing shot placement and course management.

I’ve been a ClubCorp member for years and have decided to try and play (walking) all the courses in the metro area. This was my first time playing here and it was a really good experience overall. Staff: Everyone I interacted with was very friendly and helpful. The lady who checked me in gave me lots of directions, the starter was friendly and my server was very prompt and attentive at lunch. Course: The tee boxes, fairways and bunkers were in excellent shape but the greens definitely had a few bad areas as one would expect on bent grass this time of year. I saw multiple people actively doing work on the course and it really shows. It’s a very walkable course, mostly flat and somewhere around 8.5 miles in length. Food: The food was just okay. As you can see below it was well presented and the server was great. The burger had good flavor - it was grilled and the bun was soft - good stuff. The house chips were overcooked and over seasoned with maybe season salt? Not terrible - not great - just okay. I’m definitely glad I made it to this course - very nice round and great overall impression.

Went for a birthday party. It seems like they have a "safety break" every 15 minutes where the kids must get out of the pool (even if they are in the pool holding on to their parent) and the life guards stand around looking at each other??

Great day at the Braelinn pool. We went with friends and had a lovely time. Get there early to secure a chair with umbrella. The water was terrific in both pools. Plenty of kids if you have littles. The food was decent, okay for a quick lunch.

Kaylin(waitress) was extremely helpful and polite. She made the whole experience a delight. I love the capresecrostini! The club its self was also really nice. They just need more people like Kaylin. She’s great.

It’s fairly pricey to be members at the golf courses in PTC, but it’s worth it if your family plays. The course isn’t too difficult and the staff in the golf shop are friendly and very helpful. It’s usually pretty busy so make sure you keep up with the pace of play. Also, the driving range gets very busy as well. Sometimes you have to wait to get a spot.
