Went here to do an ATV tour and had a blast. It was a lot of fun to ride around the trails and see the natural beauty of Alaska. The guide was very friendly and made sure we had a safe and fun time. We had an absolute blast and really enjoyed seeing the fall foliage and learning about the history of the area. The food we had during the excursion was tasty as well.

Did the Treasure Hunt and Dinner. Ross was our guide for the treasure hunt. He was very informative and fun! Arthur made a great meal and far more than we could eat! The bus driver who picked us up and returned us was also very informative, although I can't remember his name, he is a school bus driver during the school year. We had a great time, thanks to all.

7/4/2025 - Dinner - Table for 2 We drove long way to try king crab but it was not worth the drive. - The tomato soup was so thick that it was like warmed up marinara sauce. - The fish was not edible - King crab was barely OK Would not recommend.

We did the covered wagon tour which left from our resort at 745 on July 2. We booked through Princess, where the marketing photos, language and sales team claimed it was a great opportunity to spot wildlife, see the views and would be better than ATVs because the tour would be quieter. We paid $115 per person and were told it included a dinner (with gluten free options for my celiac wife). Within a few minutes of starting the wagon tour, we realized our experience wasn't going to be great. Our tour guide, Sarah, claimed to be a new guide who never worked with horses and was in her first season, which all would have been fine. However, she didn't have a tour program and spent most of her time asking about where we lived and talking about Florida (her winter home) than Alaska. When we asked some simple questions like "where is the best opportunity to see wildlife", she didnt have an answer and said "everywhere. They just appear." The tour itself was through the backwoods of the property and didnt have many open views or fields where viewing opportunities would have been great. When we did have views, we weren't allowed to step off the wagon for photos and had to bend around the wagon cover or get uncomfortably close to Sarah to get good photos. To top it all off, the horses and ATVs shared the trails and likely scared off any wildlife before they could show up for us. The meal happened about an hour into the tour (at 9pm), and while the food tasted good, the experience lacked organization or communication. We sat down to potato salad, cole slaw and pasta salad with no further instructions than "its family style, so grab some and pass it along." I asked our tour guide what my wife could eat and she didn't know what gluten free food was. She consulted the cooks and said "you can eat the coleslaw" Then, she steadily brought out other dishes (corn on the cob, veggie chili, chicken, ribs and salmon filet) one at a time spaced several minutes apart. We didnt know what the meal would include and everyone thought we were getting just the initial sides until they kept bringing more dishes. We were all full by the time the second protein came out and the guide seemed very miffed that we didnt want more food. For my wife, we had to guess and figure out for ourselves what she could probably eat and thankfully didnt have any issues. But it culminated with our guide trying to serve BREAD pudding to my wife!! Overall, it was a very disappointing tour and our guide wasn't that great. Hopefully its better with a better guide. The horses, the food itself and our driver were perfectly pleasant though.

We had a great time on our covered wagon tour! Phoenix, Lexi and Nikola were very knowledgeable and friendly guides. Our trip was full of beautiful nature, fun facts and cool stories. The views and wildlife were amazing. Odin and Prince gave us a smooth and safe ride to the pavilion where dinner was delicious. For sure add this to your Alaska itinerary!

We went on the side by side ATV tour. Ross was an excellent guide along with his helper from Macedonia. We had great weather and a fun time driving the rugged terrain. Lots of puddles to splash in. We stopped several times to learn about the area. They served a full lunch that was delicious. This was the best excursion we had in Alaska.

Buyer Beware - They will rip you off and refuse to make it right! My family and I did the ATV and backcountry dinner through Viator with Black Diamond.  First, let me say our guides, David and Andrew, top notch, 5 stars.  They were great!  Explained everything, gave back stories of the areas we visited, helped take photos, very polite and kind.  The trail was fine, got in some good views, however...... We had 3 older people with our group of 7, who didnt want to go fasternthan 5 mph.  We are middle aged with 2 teen boys, and let's just say I could have walked faster than we traveled on the trail with the ATVs. But the real down fall here was, we got to dinner and there was basically nothing left.  First off, they only had 6 scheduled, so they only "made" food for 6 even though there was 7 people.  They didnt even have a place for her to sit, we had to create an extra spot on the edge of our table.  The food portions were basically none existent.  They ran out of corn, ribs, chicken, and salmon.  We all only got 1 rib each, 1 piece of chicken and we had to cut 1 piece of salmon into 7 pieces for all of us to have a bite.  The food was good, it just wasn't there to feed us.  Paying over $700 (with tip) for an experience that included dinner, but dinner wasn't really there and my family left hungry isn't right. I requested a partial refund since we didnt get dinner as described in the booming an was refused by this company. Choose a differnt company as this one wont hold up their end of the deal and will refuse to make it right if they fail to provide you want they promised.

I rarely leave reviews, but as a father, I feel morally obligated to warn other families about our traumatic experience. During our today’s (7/2/2025) visit, my son reached for a golf ball that had rolled sideways—something completely normal on a golf course—and he was electrocuted by an electric fence that was completely unmarked and unsupervised. He received a strong shock and was visibly shaken, sitting on the ground for several minutes in pain and fear. When we reported this to the front desk, the staff’s reaction was disturbingly casual. They simply said, “I’m sorry,” and showed zero concern for my son’s well-being—no follow-up questions, no first aid, no empathy. It felt like they assumed we were just complaining for a refund, which we were not. This is beyond unacceptable. There was no warning signage, no barriers, and no staff awareness of the electric fencing. Families with children or even teens should be extremely cautious—this is a lawsuit waiting to happen, and I hope it doesn’t take a more serious incident for the course to take action. This was a horrible, horrible experience, and I would never recommend this course to families or anyone who values safety.

Marielle and Abai were my guides yesterday on the ATV tour. I was on my own, first time side by side driver! I felt perfectly safe with my guides and the capability of the machines. We went through some awesome deep puddles and a river. We saw a Mama moose and her twins. Also beautiful vistas. Thank you for a great day!
