Course Overview

Situated in Maryville, Tennessee, Lambert Acres Golf Club presents an inviting 18-hole layout designed to engage golfers of varying abilities with its parkland-style setting. This public course offers a balanced blend of challenge and accessibility, making it a favored destination for locals and visitors seeking a well-maintained track without the exclusivity of private clubs. The gently rolling terrain is framed by mature trees and thoughtfully placed bunkers, contributing to strategic shot-making and visual appeal throughout the round.

Each hole here encourages a thoughtful approach rather than brute force. The fairways are generous but require accurate tee shots to avoid natural and man-made hazards. Approach shots test precision, with greens that reward a carefully judged iron but will challenge those unaccustomed to subtle breaks and speed variations. The course length, stretching over 6,700 yards with a par of 72, provides a satisfying test for mid-to-low handicappers while remaining approachable for higher handicaps.

Lambert Acres’ maintenance reflects pride in preserving playing conditions year-round. Players often note the smooth putting surfaces and well-raked bunkers. The setting rises and falls with gentle elevation changes, offering vantage points to appreciate views of the surrounding foothills and local landscape—elements that quietly influence wind patterns, requiring players to adapt their strategies.

Beyond the course, amenities include a clubhouse that supports a welcoming atmosphere with basic dining options and locker rooms, making it a comfortable spot to relax before or after play. The friendly staff enhances the experience by maintaining steady pace of play and clear guidance for guests.

For golfers planning their visit, walking is encouraged and manageable, though the rolling terrain suggests comfortable footwear is advisable. Carts are available to ease navigation, particularly on warmer days. Weather can occasionally impact play, typical of the Eastern Tennessee climate, so checking conditions ahead is recommended.

Lambert Acres provides an honest golfing experience marked by solid conditioning, reasonable rates, and a layout that rewards strategic thinking over sheer power. It stands as a dependable choice for those searching for accessible, enjoyable golf in the Maryville area.

Beautiful course, I have played here lots over the years. Latest experience was very bad and soured many years playing this course. I made a drive with some friends over an hr to play this course for my birthday (as it is one of my favorites from college years). The weather took a turn and we only finished 8 of our 18 holes. We were given $10 voucher. The price for 18 was $50+. Every course I have ever played accommodates for weather by using a rain check for a full 9 if you didn’t even attempt back 9. We were given a weird reason to match the overall rudeness exuding from the place on a busy day. I know they can’t control the weather but paying $50 for expecting 18 holes of play and getting brushed off with a $10 rain check after 8 holes is terrible customer service and puts a bad blemish on a beautiful course that has always ranked #1 in the area for me to play.

The 2 tier driving range and on range ball dispensers are worth bringing a Sunday bag and a couple practice clubs with me when I travel to the area for work. Brought the set once to play 18 and it was a great day of golf.

A hidden gem! Great greens! Good fairways. Will make a trip back to play again. UPDATE. Our 4th year playing here. We love the course. Usually just 2 of us, but this year we had 9. All of them are raving about the course.

Such a fun track! Awesome views along with the rolling hills made for a great time and tie that to my lowest round to date with my kiddo playing 💪🔥. Everyone was great and one of the Marshall's even came up giving my 11 year old some props for an up and down he had seen. 27 holes with a huge driving range and putting greens made for a great facility. Was busy even on a Wednesday but pace of play was good. A must play if your in the area. Can't beat the prices along with the course and greens conditions right now.
