Course Overview

Nine Springs Golf & Disc Golf Course presents a unique dual-format experience in Fitchburg, Wisconsin, offering an accessible 9-hole golf course alongside a challenging disc golf layout. The traditional golf course caters to players seeking a quick, engaging round without demanding excessive time or distance, making it perfect for beginners and casual golfers. Spanning a compact footprint, the course weaves through natural features such as creeks and a nearby lake, introducing water hazards that come into play on several holes. These elements require thoughtful shot placement and add a strategic layer that rewards precision over power.

The course’s terrain is a blend of open fairways framed by mature trees that create a calm yet focused atmosphere. While short in length compared to championship layouts, its design encourages a steady rhythm and sharpens fundamentals for golfers of all skill levels. Greens are well-maintained, rolling true to their contours, which introduces subtle breaks that test putting touch without overwhelming less experienced players.

Disc golfers will find Nine Springs equally rewarding. The disc golf course is known locally for its tight fairways and varied elevation changes, demanding accuracy and creative shot shaping. Water hazards and natural obstacles elevate the challenge, making each hole a thoughtful puzzle. A modest green fee, collected via an honor system, ensures easy access and encourages repeat visits.

Visitors appreciate the welcoming staff and relaxed environment, which balance the competitive edge found on the course. Weekends can be busy as disc golfers and traditional players share the space, so calling ahead can help avoid peak congestion. Walking is encouraged for golfers, with well-kept paths and gentle terrain that support a leisurely pace.

Whether pursuing a casual round of golf or the dynamic challenge of disc golf, Nine Springs provides a scenic and affordable way to enjoy the game amid Wisconsin’s natural landscape. Great course and friendly staff. Can get busy between disk golfers and golfers, but calling ahead of time helps avoid that.

A great staff and a fun course. Easy to get in a quick round of 9, hit over water and the creek, and still smack your driver a few times.

9 springs golf course is a beautiful challenging small course. I’ve never played golf golf there… But I have played disc golf there… And I’m not sure I’ve ever played a disc golf course with quite this much challenge. There are lots of beautiful trees… Water hazard in the form of creeks, and even a lake. Greens fees are five dollars for disc golf… Honor system just drop the sawbuck into the money box. Definitely a good place. Give it a try.

What great little course! Very tight with water. So much fun and for the price it is so worth it. Greens rolled true and were in very good condition. Will definitely be going back....

A nice 9 hole course. Kinda wish they didn't have carts- so many people walk the course that those on carts just rush everyone else.
