I feel compelled to share a review about the golf course because of the price point. Please note this review is coming from someone who plays out of a private club and that golf is his number one thing. First, the positive: The people are lovely, extremely nice and accommodating. Unfortunately, the golf course is straddling the line of disrepair. This is very sad given that I used to work here 30 years ago. The bunkers are completely unkept and unplayable. All tee boxes are uneven and chewed up. However, remarkably, the greens are in pretty good shape with the exception that no one repairs their ball marks. From a course perspective, it is incredibly hilly, lots of blind shots, and super tight, The landing areas are not generous. This course should be half as much as what it costs.

Golf course is overpriced for the condition. It does not drain well and the cart path needs to be repaired. Be careful driving to the course as I received a $75 speeding citation for going 9mph over the limit which was via an automated sensor/camera. Will not be returning to the course.

Absolutely horrible. Visited here to play golf, got a ticket sent from the HOA as a non-member stating I ran a stop sign. $100 Fine Pay or be banned. No way to prove I didn't run it, just some camera view, which clearly shows my vehicle stopped before the line. I've never received a moving violation in my life, been driving for 30+ years. Your club is running a scam and I would encourage anyone thinking about visiting here to reconsider where you are welcome. Hope that $100 ticket was worth losing a customer. For golf review, Cart path was horrible, bunkers had no sand, greens looked like a herd of goats grazed on them.

This course is the definition of meh. For an almost $100 dollar round there needs to be some changes made around there. There was a frost warning which delayed our tee time, and no one at the course felt the need to let me and my group know. So when we showed up we had a nice hour and a half delay. Clubhouse staff was rude, seemed uninterested and just overall miserable. Starter was rude as hell. On top of that the course conditions were just okay? Nothing blew me away, greens have always been this places biggest issue. Honestly your 80-100 bucks are much better at other courses in the area. I won’t be back!

The fairways are in great condition, the greens and bunkers could use some love.

Very Nice Golf course that has been a staple in the Gwinnett/Fulton area for years. Everything was good- Rate (hot deal), Pace, fairways, and yardage. My only negative observation was some of the greens are dried out and could use some TCL. Now it is Late August and it’s very hot this week but beware- see Chimneys and Royal Lakes. Overall, great experience and the course layout is fair and will definitely challenge all handicaps.

When you think of crazy over the top HOA. St Marlo should be at the top of the list. This group is out of control. ****Don’t buy here ***
