T-Rex Golf in Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas, offers a family-friendly mini golf experience that blends spirited fun with a touch of adventure. This 18-hole mini golf course stands apart for its imaginative layout and engaging atmosphere, making it a solid choice for visitors seeking casual recreation rather than traditional championship golf. Located at 1115 Central Avenue, the course sprawls across an inviting space where players of all ages can enjoy a leisurely round surrounded by playful obstacles and uneven terrain that challenge putting skills without overwhelming novices.

The course’s design caters especially to families and groups looking for an accessible and social outing rather than a rigorous golf test. Its approachable holes cycle through a variety of creative features, including ramps and themed decorations that spark curiosity without requiring technical precision. While it lacks the sweeping fairways or strategic bunkers of a full-length course, T-Rex Golf delivers a spirited atmosphere enhanced by vibrant staff engagement and a setting filled with lighthearted excitement.

Visitors should note the operational style, which often involves youthful staff running the venue. Interaction with the employees tends to be friendly and helpful, contributing to an informal climate where the emphasis lies firmly on enjoyment rather than competitive edge. It's advisable to expect a relaxed pace and modest upkeep on facilities; while the core attractions function smoothly, some guests have mentioned areas such as restrooms needing more regular attention.

Practical tips for those planning a visit include arriving during off-peak hours to avoid crowds and allow for unhurried play, bringing comfortable casual shoes suited for walking over uneven surfaces, and embracing the playful quirks of the course’s character. T-Rex Golf rewards those who come ready to enjoy lighthearted entertainment, making it a memorable stop for families or groups passing through Hot Springs National Park seeking a break from conventional sightseeing.

In all, T-Rex Golf presents a socially engaging miniature golf environment with enough inventive design elements to keep spirits high. It’s a destination that prioritizes friendly fun over technical challenge, perfect for players young and old looking to add a dash of whimsy to their day.

This is a decent family fun establishment. It's reasonably priced. It's run by teenage boys. That's not a bad thing, just an observation. Wyatt seemed like a great kid with awesome customer service skills. If you go here with low expectations-like you're visiting from Houston-you'll be pleasantly surprised. All in all, I'd come back the next time we visit.

The price was right and we enjoyed several different activities, including the ropes course and mini golf. The golf course was very basic, but fine for our family. The problem with this place is that it is absolutely filthy and this is probably due to the fact that it is staffed entirely by teenage boys with no adult supervision. All of them were polite, but none of them were fully engaged. We had to repeatedly ask for assistance with the various activities and the employees were timid, slow to respond. Back to the filthy part … we visited both locations because one has more amenities than the other (no extra charge for going from one location to the next). The bathrooms had clearly not been cleaned for some time. There was garbage all over the floor, rolls of toilet paper just sitting on the floor, no paper towels, and the smell was awful in both locations. Given the state of the bathrooms, I can only imagine how seldom and how poorly the other amenities are cleaned. There are jumpsuits that are used for various activities that are just shredded, dirty and worthless. Everything appeared to be in good functioning order on the ropes course and zip line, but again I wondered how often those are cleaned, if ever. This place could be really fun and a big money maker for the owner if he or she cared to maintain it and properly oversee the staff who are just seriously lacking in adult direction. I’ve only given 3 stars here for price and variety activities; otherwise, I would’ve scored it less.

My 3 year old had a ton of fun! Very kind employees!! Amazing atmosphere!! Even though it was busy they gave her weighted stuffed animal named Hippo a wristband and “watched” Hippo while we rode golf carts so Hippo wouldn’t be lonely. They are the best! Thank you for the great experience. 🚨 Fair warning there is a big (fake) spider in the golfing area! (My little girl is scared of spiders)🚨 We were there on March 20, 2025.❤️
