Way over priced, I remember about 4-5 years ago, I’d used to go play a round for about 30 bucks, now I’m paying 70$??. This is a state park folks they don’t need to be charging higher end prices. If you are thinking about golfing here make sure it doesn’t rain for about a month before because their drainage system is the worst that I have ever played. Either they need to aerate the whole fairways 2x or just rip up everything. The staff is very rude and that’s a whole nother topic I could go on with inappropriate conversation but I hope yall have a better experience. This place is very over priced, they act like this is a private golf club, and they just suck.

Went here as a father's day gift to my step dad who's been playing golf since college, I've never really played before but he's asked me for a long time. Showed up and everyone in the club house was super nice and we started to head out. As soon as we reached hole 1, the marshal paired us up with 2 other guys that were way better than me. They teed off first and was on the green in 2 swings. We teed off and my stepdad was fine but my first hit wasn't. After walking to where I hit my first ball I took a drop bc I knew I hit it in the woods. After my second swing the marshal drove up and told us "If you are looking for a ball, you need to move it along." After him being rude to the guys that teed off with us and then rude to us we asked about a refund and he called the clubhouse to tell them about how we were complaining and to just give us a refund so we could leave. Clubhouse guys even said that that's not okay. We were there maybe 30 minutes including hitting the putting green first. Definitely made me as a new player not really want to get into the game if it's like this. Also won't be coming back here to play another round.

We’ve played a lot of courses, but this was by far one of the worst experiences I’ve had. The starter (an older, skinny man with glasses) was unbelievably rude from the moment we arrived. He spoke to us with unnecessary attitude and seemed more concerned with barking orders than creating a welcoming environment. Instead of ensuring players were having a good time, he acted like a power-tripping hall monitor—rushing us onto the course and making the whole start of the round tense and uncomfortable. Golf is supposed to be enjoyable, but this guy single-handedly killed the vibe before we even teed off. It’s a shame because the course itself might’ve been fine, but the staff’s attitude completely overshadowed that. We won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a respectful and professional golf experience.

My boyfriend and I went to the grille after an amazing hike.. and were blown away by the service and the quality of food served at the grille on the golf course. Chef Mark did an excellent job with our burgers. 10/10 we will be back!!

I’m coming on here to hopefully save some people from wasting their time and money. I’ve golfed here probably 7-8 times and the past weekend will definitely be my last. The past 3 rounds I’ve played here the greens have been airrated with more sand the grass on the green. The ball hops like it’s a bouncing ball when you putt. I had a personal best round going into the last 3 holes and they proceed to turn the sprinklers on the greens?? We were on hole 16 and were no where close to being the last group. We had to wait in the fairway each of the last 3 holes for them to go off. Then when we get up to the green out golf balls are covered in wet sand so we have to pick them up and clean them and putt on a soaking wet green. All of this and they charge full price for an under maintained course and crappy greens. You’re better off going somewhere else. Don’t even get me started on customer service either. The skinny bald guy with glasses that’s a starter is so rude. One of the 4 of us was 2 MINUTES late and told us to go ahead and tee off because there was a full schedule. The group in front of us had not even taken their second shot! All this being said guys, go somewhere else. Save the hassle it’s not worth it.

My experience was similar to some of the reviews scrolled past. The older gentleman with glasses (lengthy guy) was very rude to our group. We were rushed to get off the first tee even though there was a back up on joke 2 from where I’m sure he rushed the other two groups off the first tee. Also the issue that really stuck out to me and showed me his (entitlement/power trip) was when he made the comment “do you even know what a 90 degree rule is” after expressing that the 90 degree rule was in play that day. Never will go back again until I hear that guy is gone.

Just moved to the area from Texas and decided to give this course a try since the local course in the community didn’t have the tee time I needed. Looking at other reviews I was nervous as to what to expect from the staff, however, the reverse was true. From the clubhouse, starter and marshals, everything exceeded my expectations. I decided to walk 18 on this visit and hit a small bucket before my round. Range was good, course played well, slower greens than I’m used to. Looking forward to when leaves are on trees and fairways are green. Played better than most courses in Texas where I played. For a public course, you can’t beat $50 for a Saturday morning tee time. The group they grouped me with was great! Front 9 was stacked, but at the turn it opened up where it felt like we were the only ones on the course. Finished with a 4 hour round.
