Cabrera Archipelago Maritime-Terrestrial National Park, located just off the southern coast of Mallorca in the Illes Balears, Spain, offers a rare glimpse into a largely untouched natural environment. This protected group of 19 islands and islets stands out for its crystal-clear Mediterranean waters, rugged cliffs, and rich biodiversity, making it one of the most pristine areas in the Balearic Islands. On land, history comes alive with the ruins of a 14th-century castle and an on-site museum that reveals the archipelago’s historical importance. Established as a national park in 1991, it is strictly managed to preserve its unique ecosystems and archaeological sites.

Visitor experiences often highlight peaceful hikes where curious geckos scamper close and rare birds can be spotted along scenic trails, including a popular route leading to a lighthouse with panoramic views of the surrounding sea.
