Minas Basin Wetlands occupy the eastern edge of the Minas Basin, an inlet of the Bay of Fundy in Nova Scotia, Canada. The basin is famous for the highest tidal range in the world, which causes vast intertidal zones, including extensive mudflats and salt marshes forming the wetland complex.
