This nature wellness experience will begin with the intention to slow down and meet the land through a guided meditation. You will encounter native beings and learn how you can tend your relationship with the Earth. You will participate in forest bathing activities that focus on your bodily senses and a mindful presence. You will learn about Mi'kmaq and settler history of the area. Nearing the closing of the experience, you will celebrate your time in nature with locally produced snacks and freshly brewed forest tea.
You will be offered a Closer to Nature kit in an eco-friendly tote bag, containing a beautiful, locally made and eco-friendly nature journal and pencils. The tote bag works work well for carrying your personal items. You will also find a Nature Connection Support Guide, crafted by Wil, full of forest bathing tips and supportive resources.
Sitting mats and blankets will be available to help you feel at home in the wild. A large, screened and heated tent offers shelter during bug season, heavy precipitation or cold temperatures.
Each experience will conclude with a wild tea brewed with forest plants in addition to locally harvested and created foods. Please confirm any food considerations; gluten, dairy, and nut free options, as well as vegan options, can be easily offered.
There are washroom facilities on site to use at the start and end of the experience. Much of your time will be spent in the wilderness and away from facilities.
