Rickwood Caverns State Park, located near Warrior in northern Alabama, offers a rare glimpse beneath the Earth’s surface in this region. Known for its spectacular limestone caves, the park stands out as a geological gem featuring formations shaped over 260 million years. The caves stretch more than 150 feet underground and showcase a dazzling collection of stalactites, stalagmites, and fossilized remains from when this land was covered by an ancient sea.
