Hugo Lake State Park is located near the city of Hugo in Choctaw County, southeastern Oklahoma. The park centers around Hugo Lake, a large reservoir created by the Hugo Dam on the Kiamichi River. Encompassing approximately 13,600 surface acres of water and 4,500 acres of surrounding forested parkland, the area provides a diverse outdoor recreation experience.
