Good Earth State Park, located in southeastern South Dakota, provides a rich combination of cultural heritage and natural beauty. The park is renowned for its archeological significance as one of the oldest sites of human history in the United States, dating back over 1,200 years. It was once a thriving hub for the Oneota Tradition people, known for their agricultural practices and complex society. The park extends over 590 acres of preserved prairies, woodlands, and blufflands overlooking the Big Sioux River.
