What should I wear?
Dress like you were going on a hike. Please, no open-toed shoes. If flying in the fall and winter months, dress in layers. Keep in mind, the burner over your head provides a great deal of heat.
Are there any restrictions as to whom can fly?
Due to insurance restrictions, we cannot fly pregnant women or children under 6 years of age. If you have recently had any medical procedures or surgeries, please give us a call to discuss the potential impact on flying.
All passengers should be able to stand for at least an hour and a half on your own and be able to climb into and out of our basket with 45-inch tall sides. Due to the size of our balloon system, we cannot accommodate parties with a combined weight of more than 900 lbs.
What if the weather is bad? What if I need to cancel?
Ballooning is always weather dependent. If we need to postpone a flight it will only be for your safety. In case we have to cancel because of the weather, we recommend that you have a backup date in mind.
Get to the launch site at least 30 minutes before sunrise or sunset for optimal views and smooth handling.
Temperatures can vary at altitude, so wear layered clothing suitable for changing weather conditions.
Capture the breathtaking views during your flight—smartphones and cameras with secure straps are recommended.
