Caesars Creek State Park is located in southwestern Ohio, spanning over 7,000 acres near Wilmington. The park centers around the 2,830-acre Caesars Creek Reservoir, a popular destination for boating, fishing, and paddle sports. The landscape features rolling hills, mixed hardwood forests, open fields, and wetlands that support a rich variety of plant and animal life, including white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, and numerous bird species. Historically, the area was utilized for agriculture and later transformed by the creation of the reservoir in 1978 to provide flood control, water supply, and recreation. The park offers over 20 miles of multi-use trails suited for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding, providing scenic views of the water and surrounding woodlands. Visitors can explore a restored grist mill and enjoy picnic areas, campgrounds, and a swim beach.
