Black Moshannon State Park is a stunning natural refuge located in Centre County, Pennsylvania. The park covers 3,394 acres of forested land on the Allegheny Plateau and is renowned for its rich biodiversity and unique ecosystem supported by the Black Moshannon Lake and the surrounding wetlands. Established in 1937, the park is named for the dark, tannin-stained waters of its central lake.
