St. Mary's Alpine Provincial Park Adventures

Located in the southern interior of British Columbia, St. Mary's Alpine Provincial Park spans a diverse range of alpine environments characterized by steep ridges, rocky peaks, and crystal-clear mountain lakes. Backcountry camping and fishing are also popular, with clear alpine lakes well-stocked with trout. The park is relatively undeveloped, which attracts visitors seeking solitude and the challenge of rugged terrain. Access is via forest service roads and requires a high-clearance or 4WD vehicle for some routes. Visitors are drawn by the park’s wild character, peaceful environment, and stunning vistas that reward exploration in all seasons.
