Raccoon River Park appeals to families, outdoor enthusiasts, and those seeking water- and land-based recreation close to the city. Seasonal events and activities such as cross-country skiing and snowshoeing bring visitors year-round, while summer provides opportunities for paddling and fishing in the adjoining Raccoon River.
