Wilderness Landscape & Natural Heritage

Located in Oneida County, Wisconsin, Prentice Wildlife Area spans a mix of wetlands, hardwood forests, and coniferous woodlands, providing a critical refuge for a variety of wildlife species. This area supports diverse ecosystems including marshes, bogs, and forested uplands. Established to conserve habitat for game and non-game species, Prentice Wildlife Area plays an essential role in regional biodiversity.
