Molokini Crater, a crescent-shaped volcanic atoll located off the coast of Maui, is a renowned marine sanctuary, highly prized for its pristine coral reefs and abundant aquatic species. This protected area spans around 77 acres and rises roughly 160 feet above sea level. The crater's unique structure creates a habitat rich in biodiversity, hosting over 250 species of fish and a variety of coral organisms.
