This unforgettable 3-hour excursion takes you to two of Maui's most treasured snorkeling locations – Molokini Crater and Turtle Town.

Immerse yourself in the crystal-clear waters of Molokini Crater, home to hundreds of vibrant fish species, starfish, rays, and more. Our knowledgeable crew will provide a safety briefing and assist with fitting your snorkeling gear, ensuring your comfort throughout the journey. Floatation devices are also available to enhance your swimming experience.

Next, journey to Turtle Town, where you'll encounter Hawaii's magnificent green sea turtles (Honu) alongside reef triggerfish, butterfly fish, octopus, and other captivating marine life. Every trip is unique, guaranteeing a one-of-a-kind adventure for you and your loved ones.

*Check-in is at 6:30 a.m. and the boat leaves at 7:00 a.m. (firm).

Snorkeling Experience:

  • On the way to your snorkeling spot, our crew prepares and adjusts your gear, making sure it fits correctly and you are comfortable.

  • We also offer floatation devices to enhance your swimming.

  • Discover over 250 fish species, including the colorful parrotfish, elusive moray eels, and graceful manta rays.

  • Witness the beauty of Molokini Crater's 38 hard coral species and 100 species of algae.

  • Keep an eye out for the rare Hawaiian monk seals and green sea turtles.

Age and Physical Restrictions:

  1. Snorkeler (5+ years old)
  2. Non-swimmers are restricted to the boat.
  3. No Pregnant women.
  4. Participants must be capable of moderate-to-advanced physical activity.
  5. Persons with recent surgical procedures are prohibited.
  6. Cannot book individuals with chronic, serious existing back or neck conditions.
  7. Guests must be able to climb a vertical boat ladder.
  8. No unaccompanied minors below the age of 15. No legal minors 17 or younger without legal guardian-signed waivers.
  9. No elderly or fragile people or those with back or neck problems.
  10. Must be able to walk down the dock without assistance.
  11. Weight Limit 300 pounds maximum.

Your Itinerary:

Check-In:

  • Two free parking lots are available at the Kihei Boat Ramp.
  • Check-in at 6:30 a.m. at the Kihei Boat Ramp, located at 2800 S Kihei Rd, Kihei, HI 96753. Look for the "Makena Mele II" a gray and red top colored 40-ft raft boat.
  • Please note that there are multiple charter companies and similar-looking boats in the area, so make sure you come to Makena Mele II.
  • All guests must sign and complete the liability waiver before boarding.
  • Proceed to the dock and board the boat when your group is called.
  • The boat departs promptly at 7:00 a.m. (no exceptions), so please plan accordingly for parking and traffic delays.

En Route:

  • Captain's safety briefing.
  • 20-minute trip to Molokini Crater (weather permitting).
  • Spend 1 hour or more at the first location, where you can snorkel, relax, and marvel at the beauty of Maui's waters.
  • Enjoy our complimentary snack and beverage service.
  • Proceed to the second location for another hour of snorkeling and relaxation.
  • Enjoy our complimentary sandwiches (vegetarian option available), chips, granola bars, Hawaiian-made juices, and ice-cold water.
  • Return trip to Kihei Boat Ramp.
