Madison Parish Wildlife Management Area (WMA) is located in northeastern Louisiana, encompassing a mix of bottomland hardwood forests, wetlands, and managed waterfowl impoundments. The area plays an important role in conserving habitat for migratory waterfowl, white-tailed deer, turkey, and numerous small game species. Managed by the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, Madison Parish WMA covers a significant tract of habitat within the Mississippi Alluvial Valley, one of the most important waterfowl wintering areas in the United States.
