Wilderness Landscape & Natural Heritage

Located on the northeastern shore of Oahu, Hawaii, Kualoa Regional Park is a 50-acre public park known for its beautiful sandy beach, calm waters, and stunning backdrop of the Koʻolau Mountain Range. The park provides a peaceful setting ideal for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, and paddleboarding in the sheltered Kaneohe Bay. The backdrop of lush, jagged cliffs that rise dramatically from the land offers both hikers and photographers remarkable scenery. Historically, the Kualoa area was once a sacred burial ground and an important site for Hawaiian fishponds, reflecting its rich cultural heritage.
