Coolart Wetlands and Homestead is located approximately 65 kilometers southeast of Melbourne, Victoria, within the Mornington Peninsula region. This area conserves an important coastal wetland complex and a historic homestead set on the shores of Western Port Bay. The landscape features freshwater wetlands, open farmland, and coastal scrub that support a variety of wildlife, especially migratory and resident waterbirds.
