Cleveland Metroparks is a regional park district consisting of 18 reservations encircling the city of Cleveland, Ohio. Established in 1917, the park system stretches across parts of Cuyahoga, Medina, and Summit Counties, protecting diverse landscapes ranging from wetlands and woodlands to trails and waterways. The topography includes rolling hills, expansive forests, and the famous 'Emerald Necklace' composed of linked parks. The area is noted for its rich biodiversity, with opportunities to spot white-tailed deer, a variety of bird species, and native plant life.
