Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP) span over 46,000 acres, providing a natural escape just at the doorstep of Boulder, Colorado. This area is known for its unique blend of mountainous terrains, rolling plains, and diverse ecosystems that include ponderosa pine forests, grasslands, and riparian areas. OSMP is not just a recreational haven, but also a vital conservation area that protects over 1,800 species of plants and wildlife, including threatened species like the Preble’s meadow jumping mouse.
