Paul Bunyan State Forest is a sprawling expanse of 115,113 acres located in the northern region of Minnesota. It was established to protect a diverse ecosystem that includes dense woodlands, rolling hills, sparkling lakes, and vibrant wetlands. The forest serves as a habitat for a wide variety of wildlife species, including deer, black bears, and numerous bird species, making it popular for wildlife viewing.
