Located in Kane County, Illinois, Duck Farm Forest Preserve protects approximately 244 acres of natural landscapes along the Fox River. The preserve includes wooded uplands, restored prairie, wetlands, and extensive river frontage, fostering diverse plant and animal life. This area was formerly farmland before being transformed into a forest preserve aimed at protecting and restoring native ecosystems.
