Join us for our Paddle Into Fitness teacher training! This course will equip you with the knowledge you need to safely lead a beginner stand up paddleboard lesson, a SUP yoga class, and SUP fitness classes.
The course is divided into three modules:
The first module we teach you how to efficiently lead a basic beginner SUP lesson. We cover the history of SUP, important safety considerations, equipment, basic and intermediate stroke technique, and turns.
In the second module, we teach you how to lead an effective SUP yoga class. We will discuss the many factors and considerations of leading a yoga class on the water. We will share with you two SUP yoga flows – a beginner and an advanced class. There will be plenty of time to practice teaching one another!
The third module is dedicated to SUP fitness. We will discuss more advanced SUP techniques and fitness challenges on the water. We will teach you how to create a well balanced workout on the water.
You may choose to participate in 1, 2 or all 3 modules, but if you are interested in only part of the training, please note that module 1 is mandatory.
