Guests encounter views of Mendenhall Glacier, access a secluded beach for local refreshments, and receive natural-history information about Alaska’s wildlife.
The SEGWAY - Alpine Wilderness Trail Adventure is a three-hour tour through Fish Creek Valley on scenic Nordic ski trails. The route highlights alpine meadows, snow-capped peaks, and regional flora and fauna, and includes a locally sourced snack during the outing.
All tours depart from Juneau and emphasize small-group experiences in outdoor settings. Tours combine vehicle technology (e-bikes and Segways) with on-site interpretation and photo opportunities. iRide Alaska’s itineraries focus on wildlife viewing, glacier panoramas, coastal scenery, and accessible outdoor adventure suitable for mixed-ability groups. Tours occur outdoors with trail and shoreline access; guests should bring layered clothing, cameras, and suitable footwear to enjoy photo opportunities and changing coastal conditions in Juneau, Alaska.
