The first scuba certification level. A highly-trained Instructor will teach you how to scuba dive in a relaxed, supportive learning environment. By the end of the course, you'll have the skills and knowledge to dive at home or abroad and be an ambassador for the underwater world.

Our Vision: Our classes are based on the vision of personalized training. We work with small groups to create a better experience.

  • E-learning Theory Course: we’ll sign you up, must be completed beforehand

  • You must be in good health (if you have high blood pressure, heart condition, diabetes, asthma, epilepsy, recent surgeries etc… you will need to visit your doctor to get a waiver). Here is a link to the waiver you must sign before taking the Discover Scuba Course. Please download it before arriving at our dive shop if possible.

  • You cannot dive and fly on the same day: you will need 18 hours from your last dive to the time your flight takes off.

Adventure Tips

Ensure proper documentation

Bring your certification card or open water Diver certification and medical clearance if required.

Prepare for warm waters

Puerto Rico's waters are warm and tropical, so pack lightweight clothing and UV protection.

Stay hydrated
