Syllabus

A range of subjects are covered including:

  • Dealing with an unresponsive casualty
  • Burns
  • Epilepsy
  • Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Minor injuries
  • Bleeding control
  • Choking
  • Shock

We feel that when it comes to first aid training it is vital that it is done in a way that makes you feel confident and competent to actually use it, if you should ever find yourself in the situation that needs life saving skills, or just how to effectively bandage a limb.

So to ensure this, we use as little PowerPoint as possible, with lots of time to practise and get hands on with the techniques and knowledge.

This course includes training with AED (automatic external defibrillators).
