Join the Kula SUP Tribe w/Certified Forest Therapy Guide, Shelli Smith, for a relaxing paddle through the upper/lower creek connected to the North East River, MD.
Prepare to awaken your senses and deepen your relationship with the natural world through sensory explorations that combine curiosity, connection, and community. Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shrinrin Yoku, Forest Bathing encourages you to slow down, quiet your mind, and connect with nature. During our paddle we’ll take time to be present and float slowly as we notice the unique gifts that nature is offering. Our paddle will conclude with a special tea ceremony!
This practice encourages us to move like a river flowing effortlessly downstream, unhurried, yet responsive, moving forward with both purpose and flexibility.
Your Guide- Shelli Smith is a Certified Master Naturalist & Nature/Forest Therapy Guide. She is also a Certified PSUPA & Kula Stand Up Paddle Boarding Instructor!
