Great kayak trip for Beginners that DON'T want to snorkel!
We have had so many requests for a paddle-only trip that we just created a NEW tour designed especially for those kayakers that just want to stay on their kayaks and not snorkel. We begin our tour with an easy launch from the calm, protected shores near downtown Lahaina and then paddle through the nearby reef.
Enjoy beautiful weather all day and a nice easy paddle along calm waters beneath the towering West Maui Mountains. Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles are regular sightings. Occasionally we encounter the elusive Monk Seal, Spinner Dolphins, and Eagle Rays.
This 2-hour kayak tour includes:
- Kayak lesson on the beach
- Easy and relaxing paddle along the coastline (2 hour paddling time)
- Close-up views of moored boats and Lahaina Marina
- Frequent sightings of Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles
- Whale watching, when in season
- Views of Shark Pit reef and West Maui Mountains
This is an excellent spot for whale watching when in season (Jan-Mar).
All eco adventures are guided and include kayak gear, life jackets, a bottle of water and a light snack. Typically, group sizes are held to 6 people or less to ensure a quality and personalized experience.
